System Requirements for Video Game Making On-Line Class

  • High Speed Internet (128K minimum connection speed)
  • IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® II 450MHz or faster processor (or equivalent)
  • Windows Platform (NO Mac)
  • Windows 98, SE, Me, 2000, XP (and later)
  • DirectX 8 or higher compatible graphics graphics card with at least 16MB of video memory (preferably 32 MB or more).  Also a DirectX 8 or higher compatible sound card is required. DirectX version 8.0 or later is required (not included; you can download it at the Microsoft DirectX page).
  • 128 MB of RAM
  • Flash Player 7 or above. If you see the animated image below, you already have the flash player installed. If you do not see the animated image below, click here

The last test you need to make is to download pacman and double click on the game file to play the game. If you can run the game, then this should be the last step in checking to see if you computer meets the minimum system requirements to take this class.
